Completed -
As part of our ongoing platform lifecycle and support alignment reviews, including routine readiness checks ahead of upcoming production upgrades, we’ve confirmed that the Redash Management Platform databases are currently running on PostgreSQL 16.x.
AWS RDS standard support for PostgreSQL 16 remains available until 28 February 2029. Based on this, the previously scheduled Redash PostgreSQL maintenance is no longer required at this time and will be rescheduled as part of a future, planned maintenance cycle.
No maintenance was performed, and there is no impact to the Xponent application, Hub environments, or existing Redash dashboards, queries, or reports.

End: 19 March 2026, 16:00 UTC
Summary:
Xponent will perform planned maintenance to upgrade the PostgreSQL database that underpins the Redash Management Platform itself, from version 13 to version 17.
PostgreSQL version 13 has reached end‑of‑life on the AWS RDS platform and will no longer receive security patches or engine updates. This upgrade ensures continued security, stability, performance, and long‑term vendor support for the Redash platform.
This maintenance applies only to the Redash Management Platform database and is independent of the staged, per‑Hub PostgreSQL database endpoint updates.
What Does This Mean for You?
• External Reporting and Analytics access via Redash may be unavailable or experience brief interruptions during the maintenance window.
• The Xponent application and Hub environments are not impacted.
• All existing dashboards, queries, and reports will remain unchanged.
Next Steps:
As we make progress during the maintenance window, we will provide updates. Once the upgrade is complete, all affected components will be marked as complete.
Following the upgrade, we will carry out our standard post‑upgrade checks to ensure the platform is operating as expected. As with all Xponent Core upgrades, appropriate contingency and rollback measures are in place.
No action is required from you at this time.
